HNB Assurance PLC recently hosted its highly anticipated Sales Convention for 2023, filled with glitz and glamour. Held at the Shangri-La Colombo, the gala event welcomed over 900 participants nationwide, solidifying its status as the largest convention in HNBA's history.
The Advisor Distribution Channel was responsible for delivering a remarkable growth in New Business premium by 37% and GWP growth by 24% which contributed to the overall success of HNBA, in 2023. The convention served as a platform to honor and celebrate the remarkable achievements of over 500 outstanding performances of the Advisor Distribution Channel, under the categories Bronze, Silver, Gold, Super Gold, Premier Gold and Grand Awards. Further, 92 MDRT qualifiers along with 03 COT and 02 TOT winners were felicitated during the event. The pinnacle awards of the night for ‘Best Sales Advisor’ and ‘Most Valued Distribution Manager’ were awarded to Ms. Shamali Liyanage and Mr. Lakmal De Silva.
