Lasitha has over 24 years of experience with 21 years of experience in Life Insurance Operations and Sales inclusive of 07 years at AIA Insurance Sri Lanka and 03 years of Marketing and Sales exposure in London. Prior to joining HNB Life PLC in 2019 he functioned as the General Manager - Life Operations and Specified Officer at Softlogic Life Insurance PLC. Lasitha Joined HNB Life PLC in 2019 and served in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer and Principal Officer prior to being appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of HNB Life PLC. Lasitha holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) from the University of Wales, UK and a B. A. (Hons) Degree in Business Studies from the University of Sunderland, UK. He is a Chartered Insurer and a Fellow Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII). Lasitha is also a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (ACIM). Lasitha is the current President of the Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL) and is an Honorary Past President of the Sri Lanka Insurance Institute (SLII) and has been serving as a Council Member from 2011. He was also the Founder Secretary General of the Association of Chartered Insurance Professionals (ACIP) and was a Council Member until March 2021. Lasitha, also serves as a Director at Bio Diversity Sri Lanka.

Harindra Ramasinghe

His career journey in the insurance field began when he joined Eagle Insurance in 1996 as a Business Development Associate and subsequently, he joined HNB Life in 2003, as a Marketing Executive, He was appointed as the Acting Officer in Charge in 2005 upon which he received the First Runners-up Award for the Best Development Office in 2006. Following this victory, he was promoted as the Branch Manager, which he managed to win the 1st Runners-up award for the Best Development Office for the second consecutive year. Setting high standards of victory, Harindra won the award for the Best Development Manager in 2008. He was promoted as RDC Manager in 2009. And he was then promoted as a Regional Manager in 2011. In 2014, he was promoted as Zonal Manager and subsequently as Head of Distribution and Chief Business Officer. Some of his greatest career achievements were winning the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in 2012 and the Gold Medal at SLIM NASSCO Award Ceremony in 2013 under the category of Territory Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and an MBA from the Kelaniya University. He has also obtained foreign exposure including FALIA in Japan and other programmes Europe.

Sanesh Fernando

Sanesh has over 18 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, starting as a Propagandist and rising to become a high-performing Sales and Marketing strategist. He was the Sri Lankan representative for the open enrollment program from the Life Insurance Management Research Association (LIMRA), which is a well-regarded professional organization in the insurance industry. In recognition of his achievements, Sanesh was awarded the Head of the Year - Insurance Partnership Business 2021 by the Global Banking and Finance Review. He also won the Bronze Award for the National Sales Manager Category from the National Sales Congress (NASCO), organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM). Sanesh joined HNB Life PLC in 2012 as an Assistant Manager - Bancassurance and was promoted to Chief Business Officer / General Manager - Partnership in 2022 Sanesh holds an MBA from the University of Sunderland - UK, an MSc in Strategic Marketing from AeU - Malaysia, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management from the University of Sunderland - UK. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (MCIM) and a Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (MSLIM).

Ruwan Rodrigo

Ruwan Rodrigo was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of HNB Life PLC in November 2025. He is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the Company’s finance function, including financial planning and analysis, finance operation, financial reporting, taxation, treasury and capital management. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and audit assurance sectors, with strong expertise in financial planning, SLFRS financial reporting, solvency and capital adequacy management, asset-liability management, investment governance, and regulatory reporting. Ruwan has played a key role as Financial Controller of Union Assurance in strengthening financial governance, enhancing internal controls, transforming finance function, optimizing overhead cost and supporting business growth while ensuring financial stability before joining HNB Life PLC. He has also functioned as head of one of the Assurance business units of Ernst and Young where he served for John Keells Holdings Group and Hayleys Group and led SLFRS implementation and provided accounting advice for several complex transactions. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (SL), Associate Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura (SL).

Navin Rupasinghe

Navin Rupasinghe is the Chief People Officer of HNB Life PLC and a member of the Executive Committee, responsible for shaping and driving the organization’s people and culture strategy. With over 20 years of experience in human resource leadership, he brings strong expertise in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational transformation. Prior to his current role, Navin served as Head of Human Resources at HNB Life, where he played a key role in strengthening the company’s people agenda and supporting its growth trajectory. He has also held senior HR leadership roles at Freight Links International (Pvt) Ltd. Navin began his career at Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) in 2007, where he spent over 16 years and progressed through multiple leadership roles, culminating as Deputy General Manager – Employee Engagement & Transformation. He was instrumental in driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, strengthening employee engagement, and building high-impact people practices. He has a proven ability to align people strategy with business priorities, build high-performing cultures, and elevate employee experience. At HNB Life, he continues to position people and culture as a core driver of performance, growth, and long-term value. Navin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Excelsior University and has completed Advanced Human Resource Management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
