The Company joined hands with the College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka for the second consecutive year and sponsored a series health symposiums conducted in various parts of the country. These health symposiums aimed to educate the general public on a number of topics related to health and wellbeing.

With an aim of educating the general public on a number of topics related to health and wellbeing, we continued the Suwathi Diwiyata Magak program. This program focused on providing assistance as well as educating the general public on a number of topics related to one’s health. Several outdoor events including fitness session and medical check-ups were organized through this event.

This school is located in Udispattuwa, an area which is located off the Kandy - Mahiyanganaya main road. Being located atop a hill, the water supply of National Water Supply & Drainage Board does not reach the school in sufficient quantities. To overcome this situation the school has erected a tube well within the premises of the school at a water source that is located downhill. The request that we received was for the installation of a mechanism to extract the water from the source and pump it to tanks from which it could be distributed to the students in the school. As such, a water system installed in order to distribute water in a sufficient manner.
