HNBA continued to grow its efforts in liaison with College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka for the third consecutive year to advocate a spectrum of health symposiums conducted across the country. These health symposiums provided valuable insights and knowledge to the general public on a number of topics related to health and well-being such as child health and maternity care. Hand in hand with the symposiums was the annual blood donation camp.

A financial donation was made to Akkerepattu Sinhala Vidyalaya to support the academic achievements of the students.

This school provides education for 58 students from Grade 1 to 5 and is located in Thammennakulama area of Neriyakulama, Madewachchiya. The school has 5 Personal Computers to facilitate the Information Technology subject area for the students. However, the computer laboratory building does not have a ceiling and proper windows causing damages to the limited resources the school has. Hence, the principal of this school has requested us to donate material required to build the ceiling of the laboratory and fix four glass windows to the same.
