HNBA offered a sponsorship for a Cancer Awareness Program for women organized by the Memon Association of Sri Lanka. The event consisted of a workshop on cancer and medical check-ups.

In order to make way to a cleaner environment, a beach clean-up was organized in the Wellawatte beach stretch as conducted with the help of volunteers of both HNBA and HNBGI. This was focused on improving awareness of marine pollution and its deleterious impact on Sri Lanka’s famous beaches.
